Celebrate Diversity in the Disability Community

Tuesday, July 26, 2016 - 3:00pm - 8:30pm
In honor of the 26th anniversary of the Landmark Civil Rights legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act. 
Presented in partnership with the Minnesota ADA Celebration Committee.
3 to 5 pm:  Free program in 3M Auditorium; Celebrating Diversity in our Community with keynote speaker Ken Rodgers and a panel  discussion by members of the diverse disability community
6:30 to 7 pm: Dance lesson and movement games with Angelique Lele, Ms. Wheelchair Minnesota 2015, and performance by the Young Dance Company, All-Abilities program 
7 to 8:30 pm: Music and dancing with Tamarak--Pure driving, no-holds-barred, classic rock-n-roll  with band leader, Curt Jones, 1993 Eleven Who Care honoree, a drummer who is blind.
