Our two Museum Stores are wonderful sources of books and gifts relating to Minnesota's history and culture. The History Center Museum Store has a broad selection of gifts and books related to the exhibits, programs and collections of the History Center, family history research, and the full catalog of the Minnesota Historical Society Press. The Sights of Minnesota Store features gifts and books related to statewide historic sites.
We are proud to present handcrafted items from Minnesota artisans.
Members of the Minnesota Historical Society receive a 10% discount on purchases in the stores. Merchandise from both stores is available through our Online Store. The stores are open during regular museum hours.
Special hours: In conjunction with the History Theater’s production of "1968: The Year That Rocked The World," the stores will be open until 8 p.m. on these dates: 1/27, 1/28, 2/4, 2/10, 2/11, 2/17, & 2/18.
Café Minnesota
Features a menu that highlights sustainable, local ingredients, the Café offers self service dining, with a grill, and stations with entrees, deli items and desserts.
Special Extended Hours: In addition to the hours listed below, the Main Café will also be open Tuesdays until 8 p.m. and Sundays until 5 p.m through Feb. 19.
